Good food and drink – the flavours, the fun, the sensory appeal – are
being celebrated by Brussels in 2012. The Brusselicious festival consists of
activities, exhibitions and markets all over the city: on street corners and in
parks, bistrots, Michelin-starred restaurants and exceptional locations. True
gourmet food will be everywhere. The festival is a tribute to products and producers,
to talents and creativity, to the catering professions and the places where
they are practised. And the real stars of the show will be the traditional
recipes, the whelk barrows, the chocolate crunch, the vegetables rediscovered
after long neglect, the beers and other distinctive delicacies… To mark the
occasion, Timmermans®, one of the oldest of the lambic breweries, has created
an exceptional vintage: Brusselicious Faro, a recipe inspired by 300 years of tradition.
